CFI training at Hillsboro Aviation
Hello,

I've made all my training at Hillsboro Aviation, and I've chosen the school basically due to the challenging Pacific Northwest weather. Today I don't regret this decision!
My CFI training took me around 3 months to complete including group grounds and flights on C152's and on the C172RG.
Right after I've finished my training I've applied for a job interview and received the call two days later with the job offer.
Since I've started as a CFI, on February, I've done 300 hours of dual given. And as a CFII we can build actual time taking advantage of the weather here. Since the airlines are looking for multiengine and actual time this is working good for me. Working now on my MEI to get the multiengine part of this done.
The best thing about Hillsboro Aviation is that the school staff is very accessible. Every time I had a problem I've talked with the Chief Instructor or assistant Chief and had my problem solved.
Hope it helped in your decision!

If you're interested in the Pacific Northwest, I would suggest checking out Professional Air in Bend, OR. Fantastic school! PM me for details.

Have you looked at Twin Oaks? its just down the road and their prices are alot better. Also their instructors make $41/hr when you start teaching. They have Cessna's and Pipers, and a multi as well. If you want more info shoot me a PM

Thanks for the information. I am looking for a school that has a lot of students so I can spend my time teaching and not trying to find students. So naturally I am looking at schools that have international students.
