My guess is that the supplies were consolidated in CGN or CDG and then flown to Liberia on a third party aircraft.
We flew an MD-11 charter MEM-LGG (Liege, Belgium) and it was taken on to Monrovia Liberia by another (new) US MD-11 operator, Western Global Airlines.

Couldn't you like take two crews, fly it to Europe, take a rest period. Then you could fly it to Africa, unload it, and get the heck out of there that same day?
