I just called CRS since the ANC FO requests from 2+45 ago are still pending.
Apparently, they are all swamped trying to Draft for MEM MD-11 FOs. Not sure when they will get to processing requests.

I suggest everyone call CRS and ask them "How's it Goin?" They will probably process the stuff quickly if the phone keeps ringing during their DRAFT attempts.

Riddle me this Batman. Only one trade on the 757 has been processed in the last 2 hours. The trip I was trying to pick up was awarded to someone else. His original trip posted in open time. This should have triggered a disapproved earlier time stamp notification. Methinks this FO has some type of inside track. Why is he the only guy that had a trade request processed?

Could be swamped trying to draft for 75 CA. Still two trips for tonight not filled. Had to give a third one to RSV hotel stby

The problem is that some people ARE getting their requests answered and granted. It is my guess is that they have a PMU code. The longer a trip sits in Open Time the better chance someone with a PMU code has to get the trip vice a normal trip trade request. If CRS cannot process requests in a timely manner, anything less than a couple of minutes, then the PMU system becomes unfair for the "general population" pilots that are trying to improve their QOL through trip trades.

For instance, I attempted to trade for four trips that were in OT at the opening bell. All four trips have been assigned and I still have not received a denial message. It has been 3 hours since I placed my trip trade requests. Or, worse case scenario, I am completely wrong and these individuals do not have PMU codes. Instead they are gaming the system. Which in that case I say shame on you all for F'ing your brothers and sisters.

Both instances SCREAM for REAL TIME TRIP TRADING!

Forget this frustration I'm going to bed.

I think it's likely that it's PMU. They do tend to process those requests immediately. I don't think you can game the system otherwise as far as getting your makeup requests processed earlier, it's all in time stamp sequence.

I wonder if they have every single scheduler calling MD-11 FO's for draft? Kind of a problem when you run out of reserves at the end of the month. I can't even guess how difficult it will be at the end of Nov and Dec.

Looks like they are starting to turn the MD-11 trips into Airbus trips, filling them with reserves. Maybe that will start to get scheduling moving to process the trades.

Me thinks this is being done on purpose as if they were "instructed" to ignore! I'm at 6 hours and 26 minutes and still waiting.......

The total bid line adjustment system is broke and no one cares to fix this . Every month , folks are in a dither over lost hours waiting for bid line adjustments , lots of belly aching and complaining ........ File the POR , direct complaints to the Union and Company........

I'm not really a fan of the PMU concept and have never had the option. That said, isn't the whole point of PMU being accomplished if those folks with PMU are getting the trips ahead of the "general population"? How are you seeing that as "unfair"? It sounds like you want CRS to process trips so quickly that pilots with PMU find that option essentially useless and the whole thing reverts to first come-first served. Then the PMU people would be crying "unfair".

IMO, once general trip trading is open, it should be first come-first served and it obviously needs to be real time. Let the PMU folks cherry pick prior to that. Until that happens, I really don't think you have much of a leg to stand on.
