The wife's next assignment will probably take us to OKC or Macon GA.

What do you think would be an easier commute to the JFK or Boston area;
1) A short drive to KOKC, but a 2 leg commute.
2) An hour drive to KATL with a 1 leg commute.

Thanks.

1 leg from ATL, hands down. 2 leg is the kiss of death and ATL should have more mainline options.

Definitely go for the 1-leg commute.

I'd rather 1 leg commute across the country than 2 leg commute to the next state.... 1 is hard enough, 2 is a disaster in the making.

Generally one leg is far better than two...but ATL has a lot of commuters, going in both directions so keep that in mind.

What airline are you with and can you book your Jumpseat. OKC is probably going to be lots of RJ's and you won't have priority. IMO a commute on your own mainline is easiest (unless you're talking PIT PHL on LUS).

At LUS we book the JS and it's nearly stress free.

1 leg, ATL.

2 legs always looks fine until you try it.

Be warned the ATL-JFK is brutal! There's a reason for my position title under my avatar. If you have DL priority, it's tough but doable, but if you're JetBlue or another non Delta JFK based airline, it's tough. I've got DL priority and I still had to two leg it through SAV on Sunday, mind you it was the Sunday after thanksgiving.

SWA from ATL to LGA, maybe?
