I ended up as an XO. The reserves are a strange and wild place. Might as well do it to get something for your years on AD. I'll admit it, I'm mostly in the reserves for my family's sake, having Tricare Reserve vs Obamacare, some sort of retirement, commissary and MWR stuff for the wife.

(those who know my career are amazed the Navy let me fly, never mind run something)
