Quote: Why did the captain leave the cockpit to begin with? To go take a dump? Get a drink?
We don't usually 'take' a dump, we usually -leave- them!

We call it, "Logging time over water".

Helps to relieve the pressure prior to the landing.

You see what can happen when the Capt. goes out to drop a duce?

AirAsia co-pilot at controls when plane crashed

I'm thinking all Airbus aircraft are going to soon be re-certified as...

Captain ONLY!

But the Mad Dog? She don't care who's at the controls.

Mad Dog gonna do what the Mad Dog gonna do!

Unlikely, most Delta captains don't have an anus.

And Bucking Bar thought the VNAV, the FMS and A/T were a problem on the Douglas Racer.

Its a good thing that this happened on a Delta Air Lines plane and not some other airline.

Quote: I HATE when that happens.
Can one and all remember the best part of soloing? No bone head in the right seat constantly yelling "RIGH RUDDER!". Well almost the same thing about finishing OE, for the F/O that is.

I nominate the F/O's call sign needs to be changed from "Maverick" to "Captain Solo".

In any event.... breadsticks and cognac for the F/O for landing the jet without autoland as they did in India last year under similar circumstances.

Is it that? Or is it that they're so tight the company crams coal up there and turing them into diamonds and helping out the bottom line?
