Just announced. Initial base for the aircraft is DFW. Not much of a surprise. Heard rumors of island and northern parts of South America as possible destinations. Still fishy our VP of flight ops (JW) took a demotion to E175 program director. He now reports to the guy who used to report to him. Don't understand it.

No rumor. Your company has been approved for that ops. It's in your FM1. MIA may pick back up for you.

No, actually for him it will be a "transition".

Of course, the pay aspect won't change much, but the shine is more beautiful and he has slats to play with now. If only the $250,000/year he claimed to make (as a Corporate new-hire yet) was real, would life then be grand for him. eh ?

Oh well..........one can always dream.
