It says JetBlue won't be accepting resume or applications!? What's the point of going to the career fair then?

Anybody know if either JB or Frontier will be recruiting for pilots? The site says the companies will be recruiting for all sorts of jobs and I don't want to waste the trip down there if there are looking for avionics techs or other stuff.

Everyone is hiring pilots, however according to the PDF JB won't be taking resumes or apps. There are other job fairs going on that week... I know I won't go to a career Fair just to be told to apply online, what's the point then?

Spoke to a friend today who went and he says JetBlue DID look over his résumé, application and spoke with him about how to continue working towards getting an interview! WTH?!? Js firm sends out an email that was pretty discouraging for anyone wanting to meet jetblue, now this?

I for one was going to make the drive there and airline to my prior engagement late just to see JB but this got me pretty ****ed..kind of tricky if you ask me...things make less sense the more I think about them

They just want to see how serious you are. If you're willing to go there just to talk knowing they won't take your resume it makes you a much better candidate.
