In fairness to you, I suppose youve never been here when we had a fleet plan and a pilot target written down on paper. If i said "core flying" you'd probably shrug.
Ah, yes, "we must focus on our core fleet of 49 Saab aircraft" Don't worry about that single CRJ-200 we keep flying at a big loss. (Mesaba circa 2006) John Jinglepants talked that til he was blue in the face where it was obvious to everyone it was all a lie.

I guess our core fleet would be 81 -900s because that's all that is really Endeavor pilot's aircraft. Nothing else could be considered "under contract" loosely.

Thought you were leaving? Why you still hanging with us? Guess you should have asked Delta when you interviewed what 9e's fleet/crew plan was

I just read in another forum that an LOA was ratified to allow new hires to show up on day 1, retrieve iPad, and then go home for a week to complete indoc in an LMS form. any truth to this? if so, when does it go into effect?

From the email:

"New Hire LMS Trial

Effective immediately and continuing until August 31st, 2017, new hire Pilots will be brought to MSP for one and a half days of training and then sent home for the remainder of the week for Indoc Home Study Training. In the future this may be extended to include Gen Subs. The cost savings driven by the LOA will be monetized within the current talks of our comprehensive package."

If this is a joke, lol. If not, please, let it be a joke instead.
