If the next class is 900/200 and the class after is all 900, take the first class... Yes, it MIGHT mean you spend 18 months in the 200, but it also might mean you upgrade 2 months earlier or hold a line sooner etc etc.
DON'T wait on a class.

I came here, bid for the 900- and over 18 months later I still stay on the 200 because it works better for me- I have thought about moving many times, but there isn’t a reason to move airplanes (unless I want to fly the Big Regional Jet)

If you aren't scared of bleed air, and like lots of buttons bid the Deuce. If you like various chocolates and chips bid the 900. If you want 2 FA's discussing their cats and *****ing about no full kitchen on overnights, bid the 900.

FA is not a skilled position, most of these NYC ones were probably shorting people a full carton of fries at McDonalds a couple months ago, now they're FAs complaining that we're gonna get paid too much and that they should get more, and calling up every two minutes in cruise complaining that it's too cold in back.
At mainline most of the people I worked with were college educated. Lots of very great and professional people from a whole myriad of different background. Regional FAs...that's a different story, though I've met some quality ones.
