Think of it this way... you have to work before you get paid. So the 1st is payment for 37.5 (or less if you are just starting) hours that you worked the two weeks prior.

The 16th payment is for the 37.5 hours you worked from the 1st to the 15th, plus anything from the previous month that was over guarantee.

I believe (someone feel free to correct any errors) that our 1 Jan check will cover Dec 15-31 at the old rates. But the 16th check will have to cover both the new rates (1 Jan - 15 Jan 37.5 @ newrate), plus all of December at the old rates. We won’t see a “pure” new rate paycheck until 1 Feb.

I know that the 16th is for last months over 75, I just want to know about the GTY part. Also, does anyone know how the upcoming paychecks will be handled with the rate change?

That was my assumption based on the way the contract is written.

Oh, IT IS harder than a shuttle landing, and I personally make a point to inform any moderately attractive female within a 10 foot radius of me of this fact at all times.

Correct, we will see a check on 1/16 with the old rates for everything, with an ADJ line to correct up for the new pay rates covering the guarantee pay for January up to that point (because it will have the Dec over guarantee pay at the old rates) the 2/1 check will have the first full TA pay rates on it.

They've said quarter one 2018 multiple times. Wouldn't expect to hear anything more until March. Not really much more to say other than "hey, it's activated now"

Of retirees now! Did not have to wait until next year. Go do a mock listing to see.

Do you guys climb in speed mode only? Or is vertical speed allowed?
Where I fly, we're supposed to climb in speed only- and sometimes its fine. But I like to switch to vertical speed and make small adjustments if it's "porpoising" in speed... I always ask captains if it's ok if course.. it just makes for a smoother ride.
Is this ok at ENV or would that **** off CAs or go against policy?!
