Quote: Thank you for the history lesson Mr. Newhire. Different reason this time around. I'm sorry to come off like a Richard but we can't save the company from itself. A new wont fix what's broken.
Another day, another alienating comment from a disgruntled NetNets employee. Do some critical thinking, is it really different negotiating now, than it was then? I'll remind you (because so many 10+ year NJA pilots seem to forget) that new hires, although insignificant, stupid, and meaningless, still have the ability to read, so they might have some knowledge on how some of these large companies worked even before they started working here.

Yes. It is different. In the past we were negotiating with leadership that had vision. Now, not so much. It's a different adversary, one that we can't fully identify, or identify with at all.

Don't take it too personally. All he means is that as newhires, your only experiences here are from hearsay and what you can read. So yes, it is that different than before. If you were here in the good days, and then now, you'd understand.
RTS ran a good ship. Sure we had contract stuff going on with him too, but we always knew he loved NJA and he had vision for it. So even in negotiations, we knew that pushing would bring something better, and he knew it too. It was just the process. These days, not so much.
Nobody is saying you don't matter or anything, but just don't be the newlywed giving marriage advice.

This is pretty much it, added with the fact we still don't know who's actually in charge (other than WB). Jet. I'm glad you're happy here but realize at the same time we have a lot of work to do and aren't scared to do the heavy lifting. We have plenty here that are too cowardly to walk the walk and SHOULD know better.

Looking forward to walking with you when you're off probation. Til then I'll gladly do that part of the lifting.

Been there for a few months and already have apps out.. Pretty much contradicts every NJA post you participated in thus far.

New corporate jet smell, free food, and fancy company phone wore off quickly

iPhone 5 is fancy? I guess it depends on where you come from.

I interviewed a while ago with NetJets and didn't get the job. I was pretty disappointed at the time, but in hindsight I am glad I didn't get hired.
