Currently work there. Very standardized and very SOP oriented. Some don't like it. Personally I love it because that's how it's gonna be at an airline so why not start now. Overall it's a good place to work. Great benefits as well as the opportunity to put on tons of hours (which equals tons of money). Guys putting on 1000-1200 hours a year without even trying. I will warn you however that this place is not for the faint of heart. You need to realize who you are teaching. This isn't a mom and pop flight school where you have a high school/college kid who has wanted to be a pilot since he/she was born. The students here speak VERY LIMITED English and it gets hard sometimes to teach them and they will most likely not be able to fully handle the radios until deep into their training or for some not at all. Their training is also very regimented. It's not a "do it at your own pace" thing. They have two years or so (depending on the company) to get their training done. This means you need to move them along in their training according to their schedule. Two years may sound like a lot of time when the student must be available 24/7 for a lesson but it gets tough when you have 10+ students like many instructors have. All in all I love my job there. It's not easy but I enjoy going into work everyday. Great group of people to work with and a great opportunity to connect with other professionals and advance your career.
