+/- 25 jets that should also be flown by us lol

When you guys first showed up on our ramp the current CEO said "Don't worry, Skywest is only going to operate 3 jets for us. No more, I promise "

25 Alaska OO flights cancelled today, I think that's a new record.

You guys getting tired of flying 6 legs a day in sh!t weather at low altitudes yet?

Haha I was looking at that. Lots of weather cancellations. And one AC damage cancellation.

SKYW has been flying in the PNW since the late nineties, nothing new here.

Exactly. Flew the Brasilia up there doing the same routes and the same amount of legs. Now we’re being shunned for the same thing?

No you're not being shunned. I thinks it's pretty crazy though hearing all the OO guys in my jumpseat lately saying OO is on it's way to having staffing issues soon and here we are with OO canceling flights

chances are pretty good that when AAG asked OO to cover these flights it was with the caveat that if we r unable to staff some flights that the cancellation still goes on horizon because it was their flight originally. This is typically how they deal with coverage flying. Just ask Mesa...

Agree, and probably inevitable, but nothing to look down at a pilot group for. PBS gives us the pairings, we fly it.
