Get prepared folks. Alot of survey questions were prefaced with: Management has a stated a goal of reducing PS, changing Sick Leave or modifying the JV agreement terms for DCI, do you feel they would accept a contract with no changes to these programs? Would you accept modifications to these sections? Etc...

You really only had 4 available options to answer the questions so it was hard to get your views across but IMO it seemed like concessions in those sections are gonna rear their ugly heads again. For my part I answered willing to strike for sick leave and scope concessions

All these surveys we get from ALPA, Company and outside entities are geared for us to accept concessions and manage expectations.

The questions are:

Would you rather:
1) Eat this bid steamy feces.
2) Rub this feces on your face.
3) Lay in this smelly feces all night long.

You have to choose one answer no matter what.

After the data collection, the company and union will say "well, the majority asked to lay in the smelly feces all night long". You chose it so live with it. These questioned are all engineered to take us down the same path.

They released it like this: "This [XYZ] is what the pilots said they wanted in the survey. So, go with it."

JM is already on record saying he doesn't want to release any survey results.

I said it in the other thread, but the polling was completely centric to what are you willing to give up to meet the needs of the company. What does that tell you about TA2?

Were there any questions about what are we willing to fight for?

There were some questions that asked about how willing you are to strike on a scale of 1-5 on

-JV/scope
-pay
-sick leave
-LCA trip pulls.

There was a question asking if we'd be willing to change sick leave. It's a "yes" or "no" answer only. There is no way to specify you'd only change sick leave if it is improved!

Absolute failure.

It's obvious that DALPA is trying to continue the road of constructive engagement. I think it's run it's course, and we are going to have to bring labor back on the table. It's blatantly obvious that our group is divided heavily on how to proceed. The council 44 election is the most glaring example. We'll see what happens from here, but I don't expect another TA for a while. Then again, I don't want a TA if it's like the last one.

Just got polled. I will echo what others have said. Very disappointed in the questions. I feel like DALPA is trying to figure out the absolute minimum we will settle for.
