Actually the dinner from Denny's was 1) free and 2) a lot better than anything I've managed to cadge onboard the RJ I fly.

We had two other jumpseaters. Why, does K4 frequently not allow jumpseaters on certain trips? I was invited to hop on the return flight to LAX but had to get home to work a trip.
