Quote: Is all of ATLAS flight time considered 135, or 121 since it's a charter outfit?
The word "charter" has zero to do with flight time! Atals is a 121 Flag Carrier, also a 121 Supplemental, and also a 117 Passenger Op.

Quote: There is no reason to send you a copy of our schedules because we never fly them. 90% of the time you will not fly the schedule that you are awarded. We have no schedule protection and no pay protection. Seniority means almost nothing at Atlas as it pertains to schedules. We are all defacto reservists. Basically, you are bidding only for your DAYS of work and your days off, not the actual trips. If you can't accept that, then don't come here because you will be miserable. As far as the bidding lines go, they are a mesh of 30 and 60 day lines. Some have big blocks of time on (17 days), others are split into smaller blocks. You always have at least 5 days off between work blocks (with some small exceptions).
Thank you for the information. Thats more or less the kind of info I was looking for. I wanted to know how bidding was, how many bid blocks are the notorious 17 days in a row vs smaller work blocks and if there was a difference between the 747 schedules and the 767 schedules and the work blocks themselves.

If you have more information on that specific area to share I would be happy to hear it!

This month's CVG 767 F/O bid had 63 lines, 30 hard lines (as if that means anything here) and 33 reserve lines. Seven of the hard lines were 30 day and 7 of the reserve lines were 60 day. Some of the reserve lines were 15 days straight, some were broken 7days on, 15 off and 8 on, some were 5 off, 8 on, 6 off, 7 on and 2 off. And there were other combos. Some of the hard lines were 16 days on. One of the hard lines had 3 on, 5 off, 3 on, 9 off and 10 on. It's literally all over the calendar. Almost any combination is possible as long as there are 5 days off between working days. And since they are "Z" days that could be 3 US time zone real days.
