Thank you very much for all your thoughts regarding your experiences with the Sponsored Posts. Once again we apologize for any inconvenience our initial release of this feature might have caused you.

Using your feedback, we have worked with the administrators and moderation teams to come up with the best practices regarding Sponsored Posts on the Airline Pilot Central forums. Here's a quick outline of the upcoming changes:

1) Sponsored Posts will only appear to persons without a registered account. Logged in users will not see Sponsored Posts.

2) Sponsored Posts content will be updated from content unrelated to the APC forums to content that we hope will be more relevant to our guests.

If you have any additional feedback about this or other features on APC, please let us know in the Site-Related forum.

Unfortunately, they are back as of this afternoon for logged in users.

We just turned it off again. We turned it on only for logged-out users, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly.

We'll turn it back on in an hour (2pm PDT), and if you do see it, please email [email protected] with your usergroup. Apologies for any inconvenience. We'll get it right!

***Edit*** As of 2:53 pm PDT it has been turned off again. Logged-in users were still seeing the posts.
