With some doctors, yes. The doctor version of reserve is hellish. Imagine a week living in the crew room, sometimes working a couple hours a day, sometimes going 36 hours straight. Or a schedule 3 on 1 off, with the same conditions living in the crew room but with no relief so you're on duty for the full 3 days straight. Yea a lot of docs don't have that kind of schedule and wander around in scrubs anyhow, but there are posers in any industry who imitate the people who do the real work.

That "approach briefing" should be mailed to the CPs and safety departments at a bunch of companies, including mine. Spot on, brother, spot on...
