This is the most important part. Publishing your app the day you show up to RJ school or UPT doesn't show interviewers anything. If you are two years out, for sure, you publish your app and update it every month with new flight times until you get a call. It may help get a random score, but they have already said they only score an app once a year and that they will only pull an app at random with a reasonable availability date.
I know more than just a few outliers that had their app in for less than 6 months before they were called. Of course, there are also a lot of people who have had it in for 5 years. If they get a call, I don't say, gee, it must be because it's been in for 5 years. While Delta absolutely cares in your drive to get to that level, it is more adequately demonstrated by actions other than publishing an app. Things like LCA, safety, union work, taking a quick upgrade when available, upgrading airlines when practical.
For a fact, things that have resulted in getting looked over at the interview? Falsifying your availability date and changing it when you get the interview.
