The fastest way to the fractionals is probably (but not for certain) to go to a regional and get your turbine time. SIC time works, so you could go to a better regional without too much regard for upgrade time. 2500 TT and 1000+ Turbine/ME should allow you to apply. You might have to buy an ATP out in town also (if your regional upgrade is slow).

You will also need an internal recomendation (like any pilot job), so be sure to network. Every flying job I've ever had was the result of someone recomending me.

I totally agree. All I'm saying is if they are hiring people that have half the time I have, you would think I would at least get an interview. I think getting hired at 650 is still really low. Honestly, I would like to have more of a gradual transition than going from a 172 to an emb 145. I'd like to get some PIC in a King Air or a Citation before flying with 50 people behind me. I am not in a rush to get to an airline. I guess I value QOL and money more than flying a big shiny jet for less money than I would make as a CFI.

That being said, since you have the opportunity for the 121 experience, take it. The 145 is a great airplane, easy to learn, and by studying, you'll make it through ground school. As far as the sim, just study the flows hard. 6 weeks worth of studying will pay off in the end!
