anyone that lives in northern VA recommend any flight schools? i have my eye on Dulles Aviation Inc. at Manassas Regional Airport just because its close to home. i dont know much more about it besides the general price of its flight training. anyone recommend any other schools in the area? thanks in advance

The only flight school I know at Manassas Regional is ALLATP. It also dependes on what courses you want to do. ALLATP offers from private to atp, single, multi and jet transition. I haven t been with them personally, but for what I have heard, they are professional and the prices are probabily a bit higher than the average, but you get what they promise.

I used to teach at Dulles Aviation... (Summer/Fall 2000). I think it's a good school that has a decent fleet, good people and a good program. I haven't been around HEF/DAI in quite some time, but I know that the owners are good people.

I think Leesburg use to have a decent sized school.
