Quote: In the meantime, keep networking because nowadays with all the social media available to us you might finally find someone you flew with in the past who actually works here. Ask your Facebook friends if they know any ups pilots and if not if they could check with their friends? It might be someone you lost contact with who you think flies for brand yxz who's actually working for us now?

So don't give up, this is a great time for brownie wannabes because it looks like we'll be hiring for a while. If I think of something else I'll post it here.
I sincerely wish you the best.

Maybe someone else here has other suggestions?

Definitely check up on old contacts. UPS is airline #4 for me, so folks that I flew with a lot from the first airline might not even know that I am here. It happens.

I had a roommate in a crash pad here in ANC, UPS was #10 for him. I knew him at his 1st airline and where he went for the 2nd. But after that 3-9 ... I had no clue !

Good Luck !

Does anyone know, when you are making edits to the application - say you add or delete an aircraft, change a yes/no answer, or adjust your hours ect... - does the system record all previous versions or is the most updated version what is shown to the HR staff?

I realize this is probably hard to know, just was curious if changes were recorded and if it might be beneficial to constantly update the app to show activitity as other airlines like Delta and airlineapps seem to like

I'm 80% sure it does.

Is there a way to upload an internal recommendation online or are these processed separately from the web application (i.e. from the UPS employee's end...)

Thx.

Did the TBNT email go out for everyone at one time? was it recent?
Thanks!

Sounds a little too advanced for Brown.

Internal recs are done through the company website and a general pain in the rear.

I figured that would be the case, I'm an ax UPSers worked in the hubs and Gateway I have tons of people that would recommend me but none pilots, and in 10years of regional flying not one pilot I flown with has gone to UPS, Fedex yes and the others but no UPS.... should I jumpseat just to network?
Networking is a great way to get your name out there. So are the job fairs. They can be a pain, but they have worked for a lot of people lately. If you are going to network, make sure your resume and cover letter are solid and professional! Let us know if we can help you.

If internals are done on the company side, how do we upload external LORs after the application is completed?
