Skywest PHX base

I was wondering how stable the phx domicile is? Growing? Shrinking? ya think the ERJ will show up anytime soon?

I don't think the 175 will make it down to PHX since it's all American flying down there. From the folks I talked to it doesn't seem to be growing or shrinking. Im not too sure what AA wants to do with Phoenix, there has been so many rumors with it being close to LAX but Phoenix continues to remain busy. Last I heard it's taking guys a year to get PHX. I'm not sure of the time frame to hold a line.

... put this in the other SkyWest thread next time.
PHX is growing with 700s. Nobody knows about 175s for AA.

Phoenix is at 67 crews. Since the beginning of the year they have let 7 first officers transfer in and 0 captains. And most of the transfers were awarded several months ago. Most recent transfer has 21 months seniority. There are about 30 FOs with bids in for it currently, with it listed as their first choice.

The 700s are replacing 200s.

As far as I know its here to stay and recently heard that in December we start ASE and EGE daily. So it would probably grow instead of shrink.

Haven't started ASE yet but EGE is done by Denver crews.
