All ERJs are equipped the same.

They all already have this new software load that is full of glitches and other BS. Pretty new PFD, ugly software issues that can bite you in the tail.

Only if you don't understand how it works.

How long have you been on the plane? There are things happening with 27.1 that even the Honeywell engineers don’t understand.

Obviously not long at all.

Pretty sure anyone on the thing longer than about 2-3 months will have some sweet flight plan dump/altitude disregarded/or 360* story to share.

Yes. Epic 27.1 software fleet wide.

All I’m saying is that every single issue we have seen with 27.1 can be fixed once recognized if you understand the system. It shouldn't "bite you in the tail" if you're paying attention and understand how it works.

I’m not saying it doesn’t glitch. I've seen almost every software issue on that list we made for Honeywell and I've been in meetings discussing 27.1 issues. I’m saying if it bites you, then it was because you didn’t pay close enough attention to the fact that it was doing something it shouldn’t OR you recognized it but didn’t know how to fix it. Whether you use common sense, kick off certain automation, or change something in the box (usually it’s the last one), every scenario can be fixed.

The ONLY “unfixable” issue that the 175 has seen with software was the recent MAU1 glitch, and that occurred on an Epic Load 25 software. Nothing to do with 27.1 - although it could've occurred in either.
