Parents, spouse, and children. On United you get an enrolled friend. You can have a second enrolled friend if you don’t sign your spouse up for benefits.
On delta, you get either a spouse or enrolled friend. Same with AA. After one year, we get 6 annual buddy passes on Delta (but they aren’t a good deal really. Sometimes they are but not always).

If you want a firm ticket ahead of time, what kind of discount do you get on flights?

You and your family can put yourself on the standby list for the airlines you have benefits for and go anywhere UA/AA/AS/DL serve on standby/non-rev. Since every pilot here get United benefits you can travel on them in coach for free. First/Business class, if available, for a nominal fee. Departing most countries also involves pay departure taxes. You, yourself can basically get around the US for free. Some of your companions and parents will have to pay a yield fare ~$36 per segment. Delta is nice because they don't charge for upgrading to first/business class. Once again it depends on which aircraft and base to which benefits you get.

Every pilot in every base should be getting travel benefits on all partners just like Republic pilots(as well as everyone in SGU, and all the FA's, MX, agents and rampers)!

They'll activate on SkyWest Online 30 days prior to your Indoc (not ATP) start date if you're a Cadet and have completed the on-boarding stuff. The effective date is actually backdated to your EC date for Delta which is cool for buddy passes (need a year). I'm not 100% sure but I think that also goes for the clock that starts for ZED fares.
