“Online” interview

“Online” interview
I’m hearing this is an option and would normally not really consider it - however, I’m getting pretty pinched on availability between military trips and want to get my interview knocked out.
Anyone have any experience with this? Is it “frowned upon” (officially or otherwise?)

Well I’m just telling you. IMHO, which is just mine. I’ve noticed that your posts are not very broad. For example, if one was looking at a piece of a pie, you seem to be focusing on just the tip.

Online interviews: Skype, etc.
I've done 3, with 3 offers.
I returned to flying from the sales, so I am used to talking with customers on skype.
If you are new to it, practice with a family member, via skype to get used to it. Make sure your home office / bedroom etc , doesn't have junk in the background. Make sure camera is centered in the PC screen, so you can look in the camera and make eye contact, while you look at the interviewer on the screen.
Have docs you needed printed, in front of you such as approach plate they give you etc. Try to not have your eyes wander all over, it looks bizarre on camera. Make sure you have high speed internet , or it will lock up. One you are comfortable with it, its almost like a face to face meeting. Good luck !
