I have the same question...Is CBT training for the ERJ done at home or at the training center?

Thanks!

They gave us 4 days to complete about 40 hours worth of CBTs. Most stayed in SLC. You will likely have access to your Delta benefits at this point but you will not receive your crew ID/KCM access until just prior to sims; getting home may be challenging.

Default Ctp-atp

I am in SLC currently attending with the thread originator. Thought I would update this for those that follow. CTP ATP class is excellent so far. 23 in our class and all but one are CRJ bound. The jet sim portion of this course is generic according to the FAA but it will be nice to have some pre-CRJ Qual time in the CRJ Sim under what will be a low (er) stress environment. SkyWest is footing the bill for this ATP producing course so most are grateful for that. Our class will have about half head to Denver for the sim and to take the ATP Written (can't take the written till the sim is done) while the other half stays here in SLC to do the same. Everyone in class is using Shepherd Air. Some had started before they got here others just downloaded it but the consensus is that Shepherd Air is the way to go. If one wanted to prep before they got here they could geek out like I did and watch all the CRJ videos on the Aviaiton Knowledge Youtube channel but you would probably be better off starting the Shepherd Air course and saving some for here as you don't want to peak too soon (or study they wrong stuff - they update it all the time).

Good luck -

It’s been two years since my ATP written and CTP course, so things may have changed. I’d start well in advance with Sheppard Air, by the time you're done with CTP you should be ready to take the ATP test basically the next day. It will be one less thing to worry about.

CTP is a week so I’m sure it’ll be right after 1/1/22
