Default Interview

Well, I was contacted by recruiting for my application to RTP. Yeah I know it’s horrible there blah blah. Same story as literally every regional Iv’e been researching for the last few months.

SkyWest is the only regional that meets my requirements. RTP bonus that pays for my training, training at AMS is literally 15 minutes from the house so no housing costs, based in ATL which is a 1 hour commute from PNS.

My question is about the interview process. I was offered the choice between flying out to SLC or doing an online interview. I’m definitely leaning towards an online interview. Can anyone tell me what to expect on the online interview? How should I prepare? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Wear pants.

I've heard the interviewers want to see if you are really taking the skype process seriously.

If you have the mins, you are on.

But really, reconsider.

I am not on the RTP but had a “Skypeish” interview nearly two weeks ago. Read the available airline pilot gouges and study BAK, engines, high speed flight, JEPPS runway markings etc. Know your stuff, be confident not arrogant and relax. I start on CRJ in Nov.

Thanks for the info Spike. I’m coming from helicopters with zero airplane time. Should I study jet stuff? Not sure what “BAK” is. I have a bunch of instrument time so Jepps won’t be a problem. Thanks again.

Check Complete, if the domicile works why reconsider? Similar boat but exceed mins/ATP and blasted out a few apps to a hopeful short reserve commute as I'm in PHX.
