First Class Keeps Getting Delayed.
I have start date at Skywest in November. I have an SI that I needed to do some extra testing to get bumped up to 1st class. It is taking forever for the FAA to review my results. I've already had to push back my start date twice and I'm concerned that I might have to once more. I'm concerned that Skywest will get tired of waiting for me and tell me to look elsewhere. I was told not to worry about it at the interview but they may not have appreciated how long aeromedical can take.

I know someone whose clearance took a year. After initial “pushes,” SKW told them no prob, just reapply, they did and were hired.

That was my thinking. Just hate to have to go through the process all over.
They just updated hours/certificate info and resubmitted. Was picked up for interview right away and started training weeks after. Better that than keep deferring with unknown start date.
