Nope. It's a mess over there now but their business model is to push their planes and crews to the max and then push them a little a further to grab market share.

Schedules are being reworked for Jan and Feb as we speak, COVID (cough cough).

Legit question...as myself and many of my coworkers want to know.

Why do you leave the cabin lights on majority or all of the flight?

Nothing like taking a 2hr flight at 8pm and the cabin lights are on 75% of the time..if not the entire flight.

The next time you’re on a DH operated by Skywest take that question up with the FA(s). I’m sure you know that though, don’t you?

It’s a mess because they tried picking up extra flying from other regionals who’ve been dropping the ball for months. Now they’re caught with their pants down in the same predicament.

They can blame it on weather and the Omicold, but we all know that 200+ Resignations, which included 141 Captains contributed to the record cancellations.

We have an obvious poaching war going on between American and United.

Thanks, can anyone give a little more insight as to what we do in Groundschool? What are the topics covered, what do the days look like, etc?

Once indoc is finished

Ground school is everything from the SOP. I.e Limitations, memory items, certain procedures, etc. There is no systems test.

Wish we did more flying in/out of CLT

There is absolutely a systems test on the ERJ.

CRJ systems are done via CBTs between Indoc and Ground

So no systems test, but we do have a (GV/KV?) at the end of groundschool for CRJ?
