I also got a phone call within an hour of my interview as well. A friend of mine who did great on the interview the day before me got an email 7 days after the interview. It all depends on timing/who is handling your file.

Will post in OO & 9E in hopes to get equal biased and unbiased input.
I’m here for career mentoring and new to the industry, I have only GA experience prior to having just flown two trips with OO out of ORD(DOH SEP2021) and now received a offer from 9E. Pro’s to switching- Home base ATL for QOL (eventually) Positive Space commute for now Training Completion bonus Higher Pay now and top of scale sooner if we get stuck where we are. Con’s to switching- Having to explain it at an interview though it isn’t hard to justify Missing out on coast to coast flying for the next 3 years Seniority restarts but at my DOH the rate of hire not a concern I’m not knowledgeable enough on unions to say thats a pro but seems like it is. Look forward to everyone’s thoughts and guidance. |

i would stay put. Moving from one regional to another is like moving from McDonald’s to Burger King. Same circus, different tent. Plus the risk of a training failure at the new airline isn’t worth it. Stay, get the time, move on before the next furlough season arrives.

Are there seriously ATL rumors circulating again? Lol

Just to make sure I'm reading this correctly, as of today (always subject to change in the future)
-Colorado Springs followed by Detroit is the most junior base for both FO and CA on the CRJ and -Denver followed by Chicago on the ERJ. I know this can and will change, but when the time comes to choose a base/aircraft, I'd want to choose the one that at least presented the opportunity to upgrade and stay in the same place with the chance of it starting a relatively junior location as I'll home base at whatever the most junior is that fits these criteria. With that, does one aircraft or base routinely get more flying hour opportunities per pilot than another? I understand you're will flying your brains out right now, but before corona, before you were having people poached, etc, was there a base out of the ones I listed or a different one that was known as a place for more flying? Thanks. https://skywest.com/skywest-airline-...es/pilot-jobs/ |

It took them a week to get back to me. Interviewed January 10th. Phone call with the CJO on the 18th. Starting training on the CRJ on 2/11.
I interviewed last September and got an April date. CRJ as well. I’ve been sitting on the waitlist with no luck. You’re seriously starting training less than a month after getting your CJO? |

Can confirm, I was part of the 12/14 CRJ Ground and they passed out COVID tests at the GV. The next day, 10/30 tested positive and many more including myself were exposed. All who tested positive have had their Procedures Training delayed and their entire sim schedules potentially unscheduled, especially those in sims in DEN and SLC.
The ATL and CVG folks are lucky since we have a 2 week gap between PT and MT. Stay healthy out there folks, your training depends on it |
