Expanding in 2021? No way UA adds another pilot in 2021, much less expands the program.

Yes, I am not just making stuff up for fun. This is all information coming from the company that they are dedicated to keeping the program running and growing as time moves on. Just a messenger. I believe they used the word, "unwavering" at one point describing its' status. They're thinking long term. I also think there is a public forum held about it in the next few days, will see what happens. Hopefully more airlines are added to the list for more pilots to have access.

Agree. And when they do add it will start with mil pilots (the only real, decades old, flow program).

How is that even implied flow? Military guys gain the required experience in the military. Regional guys do the same flying for a regional. The legacy airlines have hired thousands from each group, both groups are extremely qualified, and both have proven equally able to complete training and become a company asset. When hiring eventually starts back up, there will be some from the military, regionals, freight companies, LCC’s.........

I don’t mean to discredit anyone or diminish a single flight hour. We all work hard for each. I’m a mil guy at a regional. What I’m saying is that all these programs, these shortcuts, the term “flow”, its all crap. For decades the only real flow program has been fixed wing military aviation.

I really hate to see young men and women fall for these hiring gimmicks. Glad I’m at OO.

Are their any whispers of any hiring in 2021? I know a couple LCCs have mentioned possible hiring this year.

Go ahead and send out that 10 bucks....MT will not surface at another airline.
