I am in the interviewing stages for Mesa/Envoy/SkyWest.
If I get an offer from SkyWest, what is the chance a DFW based CRJ slot would be open? I am not sure if it is okay to show that type of preference in the interviews. I picked those three regionals because I live in Metro DFW so living in base (as bidding allows) is highly desirable.
Thanks!

That’s some really great insight you’ve offered up. COVID is constantly altering schedules in every industry and we all need to remain very flexible and expect changes. When I enter training, my plan is to keep all of my energy on studying and stay out in front of the wave of info being given to me. And then with a coffee in my hand and a patient attitude, see how things unfold each day regarding changes in the schedule. With the right attitude, it becomes a lot easier to make it through. With the wrong attitude, someone could waste tons of energy that could have been productively spent elsewhere.
Nice.

Most junior DFW FO October 5 seniority.
Most junior DFW CP October 10 2019 seniority. Remember, you’ll probably upgrade.

Go to bid transparency on SWOL and see where you are compared to the last line holder.
Count up that many people on the base seniority list and then see when they were hired.

Good thing about sitting IOE for so long, I havent even started IOE yet and I am already almost halfway up the totem pole in ORD. so my guess is we wont be sitting too long.
