How long can one expect to sit reserve for ORD on the ERJ and CRJ?

I looked on their website and just wanted to check how accurate those dates are.

I will say the hotels are horrible for training on the CRJ. During sims we simply shared an open room with two beds. Zero privacy. The room also had no ventilation l and you couldn't open the window. So when one person used the bathroom the entire room smelled with no way to vent it. No vent in the bathroom or main room.

Getting through training is hard enough as it is. Sharing a smelly room with zero privacy is a true testament to your willingness to tolerate people.

They also room people together with opposite schedules. So one person goes in at 4am while the other comes back at 2am. Hard to show up rested and "fit for duty" when your room mate is waking you up.

Skywest is pretty good. But the hotel situation during training is horrible. Very insulting. It's hard to tell someone "you need to be a professional" and then book them in substandard rooms with opposite schedules. If I knew it was going to be like that I'd go somewhere else.

I say suck it up and get through training. I did it and thousands of others have too. You’ll have plenty of time in your career to complain about things that don’t matter.

Do you know how long the reserve time is right now? For ERJ and CRJ in ORD

You have how many decades left in your career with a lot of growth but you're complaining that you have to share a room for a month going through initial training at a regional? smh......

there is no such animal as an ideal for commuting.
Ideal would be no commute to the types of trips you want, at the highest pay your representative body can negotiate.
