And/or a wise financial decision. Inc. probably knew there was no way Mitsubishi would be able to deliver the aircraft on time, and then they can take them to court for all kinds of financial penalties for not delivering on the contract and then null and void the contract altogether. Essentially a way to get some financial settlements with minimal risk.
