I'm trying to figure out which of the three, LAX, SAN, PSP has the best quality of life. I'll be moving to the domicile and don't care which aircraft I fly.
If you're going to move go to PSP. It's the only fairly junior SoCal base. You'll gain seniority faster and be able to hold captain there this decade.

I think SAN has the best QOL as an FO and place to live, but like others said upgrade will take forever. If you don’t care about upgrading consider it, otherwise CRJ. Others can speak to the flying out of PSP vs LAX on the CRJ.

New to all the airline bidding, seniority thing as well.

If I want ORD, that seems to be a good place to go to get seniority as a FO and hold bids there? Am I reading that correct?

Yes, particularly on the CRJ if you are looking at upgrading.

So looks like currently could get DFW a month or two out of training.

Then upgrade potentially at 12-14months, hold dtw/ord for around a year then back to DFW.

So hypothetical in 24 months, 3m training, 1-2m ord, 6-7m DFW, then 12m ord again.

Reading the OP info, sound about right?

currently my first choice is Envoy for DFW but with new PSA rates I am having second thoughts and Skywest is the other option for DFW. I am curious what kind of routes/trips does skywest fly out of DFW and is it a mix of 200,700,900 or only the 700? Is there a good chance DFW will stay around?

700’s. Ya. It will be around, if your under 30 go to PSA... you will be back to DFW for AA soon enough..

Those months are the most junior person in base. As far as the CURRENT upgrade times, they can be different and it’s a moving target.
