Default Time to SAN base?

Hi folks... I live in SAN so strongly considering SKYW. How long to FO in SAN? Can a new hire get the ERJ? Thanks folks.

You can definitely get the ERJ, but you’re probably looking at 6 - 9 months minimum . . . probably closer to a year or more before getting SAN. ORD or LGA is your future, if you start in the next few months. But, all subject to change and could change next week, next month, next year. But, yes, you can definitely get the ERJ.

So is DEN and I got that my third month. Went LGA to ORD to DEN each month. I’m also trying to get SAN and figure I’ll get it by the end of the summer. Class date started 12/28/2018, IOE Feb-Mar. LAX could open up a month prior to SAN.

I'd strongly consider PSP on the CRJ. You can get it soon out of training and hold a captain seat years before you'll get a left seat slot in San.

Or start with ERJ going to SAN eventually and then upgrade to PSP CRJ CA ....
