DEN Expansion
The latest word from the schoolhouse is that DEN will continue to rapidly expand and potentially be our largest crew base by the end of the summer. Some say it’s due to GoJet leaving the market completely as they shift their ops out east. The other reason is to pick up slack for TSA which has really been hurting in terms of reliability. Latest DVRs have really shown promising movement in DEN creating even more vacancies in MSP, ORD, DTW and ATL. CRJ captains are getting the upgrade to DEN currently at 2.5 years. Lots of interesting stuff.

From what I’ve been hearing the growth will be on the CRJ. Most of the ERJ growth will be flown by LAX and SLC crews.

It would have to triple in size for that to occur and there are only 3 more bid months in summer including sept. I don't see that as likely or the last two months would already ramped up big time. Hopefully it keeps growing though and the upgrades stay low. |

The growth will be slow and steady as the construction in ORD ramps up, there will be continued vacancies in DEN, Lots of guys in ORD will transfer out as the lines shrink in ORD. United is shifting a lot of flying out of Chicago for the next few years while they build the new terminal. expect DEN to be HUGE eventually. |

If that's the case i'm wondering if it'd be easier to hold a line there instead of SFO for the CRJ. |
