I know dismissive snark is fun, and seemingly the only tool in the SAPA arsenal they actuall know how to use these days, but I'd ask exactly what SAPA does that ALPA cannot, or what exactly SAPA has done of late for the pilot group?

Maybe you should ask an Endeavor pilot if it's nice not being harassed about "Latency" or whether or not he likes their positive space commuter policy, higher travel priority, more money. Be sure to ask what schedule flexibility is like, too.
Maybe you should check with a Republic pilot and find out what it's like to have benefits on all their partners regardless of domicile, or to not be subject to abuse through ready reserve policy on the fly nonsense-of course you'll have to explain what ready is to them first, since they dont have it.
Almost forgot, check with the recent SkyWest pilots who were terminated based on some phantom nebulous attendance reliability policy. I think you can rest assured they wish they had a set policy to follow agreed to by their representatives, and someone other than a management sycophant next to them when they got called in.
Companies change, management changes, sometimes you have to respond to it.

Here's what I don't get. You knew we were not union when you accepted the job yet you came here anyway.
Ya'll remind me of city folk who move to the country for the amenities, then complain that the farm next to you smells of manure and has horse flies. Or maybe it's people who move in next to an airport then complain about the jet noise.
But we can't get enough space in the city, so we need to move to the country. It's only fair that they make it livable for me.
So now the dairyman gets too much grief from the new neighbors who have gotten onto the city council, and he sells his land to developers, who put in multifamily housing. Now you're back to the crowded city that you tried to escape.
I guess on a good note you've got your starbucks with it's line out to door to get your grande mocha frappuccino to sip while waiting in traffic, or a Chipotle and Walmart to complain to corporate when things aren't as you want them, instead of a local greasy spoon cafe with the line out the door and mom and pop A&P.
