Holiday Training Schedule

Can anybody chime in if you went through training during the winter holidays? Did you take holidays off, or work through them? My start date is November 2, trying to figure out if I should plan on missing Thanksgiving/Christmas if I’m still in training.

Usually a day or three off. Out of consideration for the instructors, not the trainees.

I went through during the holiday season, started CTP early December it worked out that we finished Indoc right before Christmas, we had 2.5ish weeks off then went back early Jan for Ground.

We didn't know we were going to have the time off until about 5 days before it happened, I wouldn't bank on it.

Get used to being gone for holidays

I was in sim during Thanksgiving, and had three days off. However, ground school - if I remember correctly - went right through it but they brought in dinner for everyone. You should have a pretty good chance of getting off for Christmas sims, if only for a few days (3)...welcome aboard!
