How many of them are layovers compared to home at night?

3 to 1 ratio. Except on weekends, goes to 5 to 1.

I had PM 5 day reserve block with three off.

There's no way of knowing. You can proffer for trips that can be a normal 3 or 4 day trip but it has to be in your reserve day block. As seniority goes theres no guarantee of getting it

What about when not on reserve?

You’ll pretty much get mostly 4 day trips and some of the least popular standups.

It's going to take about 5-6 months to get a full line almost any base you go.

Once upgraded I understand to expect to be on reserve for another year. Will that be in the in the same base as chosen or can they force you to another base?
