Default Endeavor vs. SkyWest in ATL

Living within 100 miles of ATL, what are some considerations when comparing Endeavor vs. SkyWest in the short term? I understand Endeavor training in MSP vs. SkyWest training in ATL? Looking to gather current info on training and initial basing options for both. Thanks

Can't really tell you much for Endeavor.

SkyWest does some initial FO and CA upgrade CRJ sim training in ATL. It's not the most junior base, but it's pretty close to it. You should be able to hold ATL within a month or two after training, maybe sooner. ATL is all CRJ2 flying. Mostly 4 day trips that pay 18-22 hours; pretty short flights. Reserve time is always changing; for example, this time last year, I sat at the bottom of the ATL FO seniority list and didn't move for four months. Come summer time though, that will change.

ATL isn’t the best flying OO offers, but it’s a junior base on both the CA and FO side. So, you’ll never have to truly commute.

The 9E flying is probably better, but not sure how junior it is for CA/FO.

Go to 9e, their pilots have been cultured.

I would without a doubt recommend Endeavor over SkyWest for ATL.

ATL flying consists of 5 or 6 legs a day in a hot often broken down
CRJ-200. Save yourself some miserable times and fly the CRJ-900 at an industry leading regional.

There, fixed it for you.
