Default E195-e2

Was looking at the new specs on the new E195-E2 on wiki and noticed that Skywest has agreed to purchase 100 of these (I guess way back in 2013).

Any rumors on this Aircraft? When you get them? Where you guys plan on flying them etc? Did I miss a thread on this?

If anything, it would be to lease them out.
At 120+ seats it wouldn’t jive with our customers’ scope agreements.

Those were converted to regular 175’s. (They were never 195-E2’s they were 175-E2’s. Still not certified). OO has used 50 of that purchase order. Ruffly 50 still outstanding orders left and 200 options left..

The company has said its not the right aircraft for us.. we don’t pay for fuel (except 200 prorate) the E2 is heavy and requires mor landing gear overhaul expense, fleet commonality. Lots of other reasons. They ordered them just incase. Well before all these weight issues were even known.. with the option to convert them to normal 175’s... that order was announced in 2013. Negotiated probably in 2011-12. Thats so far away in this industry!! Things change every 2 years...
