I can't believe that you guys still share rooms. This must be the only regional left to still share rooms.

In fairness, the DEN situation is fine- own bedroom and bathroom sharing a living room and kitchen. The SLC situation, however, is not... optimal.

In fairness, other regionals also give rooms with kitchens and they don't have to share with others. This is a profession, not a sleep over.

And yet they have a waiting list out till next summer. It’s not deterring anyone from going there, so mgmt enjoys the savings. I’m honestly shocked other regionals haven’t gone back to double occupancy, since it’s not hurting Skywest.

The suite set up is fine. The SLC situation is not. I was lucky I knew my roommate during initial otherwise I would’ve been pretty ticked.

Ok, this is good news to me, because I'd love to have my own room but that the HR said that I may get the sim training either in DEN or ATL, and I heard from many people that if I stay in DEN this sharing is not bad how it sounds, I don't really care if I share living room, as long as we are a pilots, I believe we have many things in common we can talk about. but sharing a bedroom makes me think about it

Still remember when I went to a skw interview and asked why they still do double occupancy. The recruiters response was "well you know Delta actually does double occupancy for their initial too"

Default SKW can so they do it

SKW doesn't offer signing bonuses or their own rooms because it doesn't affect how many people want to come. Saves them money so it makes sense from a company perspective
