United decided on a new system and didn't come to an agreement with SkyWest, Republic, and Mesa. The new system drops SkyWest's priority significantly. a

It now looks like:

1. Own metal
2. Mainline
3. Express exclusive operators
4. Express non-exclusive (airlines that fly for United and at least on other airline)
5. Other airlines

United ALPA has declared that we don't have a valid jumpseat agreement with them. SAPA is saying the same as well, though for different reasons.

Where are you getting this from? I just looked at a United pilots MEC blast and the priority list is not what you've posted.

Wanna make a bet you “bend a knee” and lose this one.

I would recommend steering clear of Skywest until this issue is resolved. There is a lot of hiring going on right now and you really don’t want to get in the middle of this food fight.

Man is up here making a clown of himself :(

That looks like the original priority that I posted. Are you saying your MEC is presenting that as the new priority list that goes into effect on the 15th (if it hasn't already)? Because that's different than what I've seen.

You’ve got nothing better to do with your free time CPP? Some time away from the APC forums will do you some good.

It's "Bend the knee" and I'll have you know that is a top tier Game of Thrones reference ;)

When Skywest Pilots through their “representatives” kick XJT, Commutair, Air Wisconsin, TranStates, and United Pilots off the jumpseat, it tends to get under people’s skin. I will respond in kind, but think this is yet another bad decision by SAPA. Future new hires should understand what kind of company they are going to work for.

And you are here to educate them, aren't you?.
Not even your coworkers like you, go read some of your xjt threads. It must be sad.

No airline is perfect. At least SAPA is finally taking a stance against something.

Stay away!

This jumpseat issue is getting ugly. Jumpseats are being denied. Career progression is being threatened.

Plenty of other options right now. Avoid the dumpster fire.
