Ya. Some shouldn't give up there class date next week because of this.. by the time there done systems this will be old news. And by Christmas everyone will be saying “what jumpseat dispute”.... and in a NH’r 30+ Career this wont be the first time they see this type of dispute or issue..
If you want to eventually go to UAL, neither Skywest or Republic might be the best choices right now. It kills me to say it.

I have to say this, he's kinda right, and I work here. I happen to have three close friends at UAL and they really are taking this seriously. The rumor of a list being kept of Skywest CAs denying the jump is indeed true, and that list has apparently made its way to the pilots on UA's hiring committee.

If there ever is a secret list, only those who actually deny a jumpseat will be on that list. There won’t be a blanket snubbing of pilots from a specific group. My guess is that those captains who are saying no have either already been turned down by United, or more likely, they are content where they are and have no plans to apply. If a captain does have plans to apply to United, I hope they think long and hard before saying no. Most likely any report would be lost in the shuffle and never surface in an interview, but why take a chance?
