Got the job offer

hey guys,

So I did my interview last month with Skywest, did good, people were so nice. Got job offer after the next 2 days. I had to read a lot of stuff then I signed the contract online. Does anyone know what is the next step is? How can I use my travel benefits? Any tips you can give me before I start my training.

But anyway, Congrats and welcome!

Unless you're a cadet, you'd get it a month before you start class, if not You won't get travel benefits until you're actually in class.

Next step is you'll get a class date, which will be late spring unless you ask to be put on the waitlist for a sooner date..

As for tips, do what you're told and nothing more.

“Had to read a lot of stuff”

If you think that’s a lot, wait till you get to training......,,,,,

Congrats bro. Stay in the books, get smart as you can on aircraft capes/lims before you start. Also, if you were put on the wait-list, make sure you are ready to get moved up 2-3 months, depending on which aircraft and training location.

If you let your recruiter know that you can be there in "15 min" they'll work with you. Interviewed in May, got a class for late November, cried a little bit and they gave me a June class. (CRJ)

You don't get travel benefits unless you got hired as a cadet. In which case, I have no idea how that works. Otherwise you have to wait until indoc I believe.

Yes. Same thing happened. Interviewed September and got class next year June. They offered early class but it won’t work for me since I’m working on college classes
