while I feel bad for the base closure (atl), I in no way feel bad about them getting paid 50 hours for zero work. This isn’t over yet, our loads for our partners are unsustainable already. The 36 hour option is still on the table and furloughs shortly there after.
There are many hurting more than us currently and we may be joining them yet.

New hires have been furloughed (maybe not what the company is calling it). Vto/cpto was denied to us. We were, however, informed by the company that they're sending us invoices for the issued uniform items over the standard (i.e. hat, blazer, etc).
Full benefits (insurance, etc) end March 31.
Did the bailout money say no furloughs? Until August 1 or so? If so, how does Skywest spin this one?

has any airline taken the money?? Some Majors may not want the “loan” do to strings attached. Sounds like sapa is fighting for the new-hires. Stay positive. And hope this is all over soon..

When did new hires get full benefits from day one? Insurance was always 90 days.

I count maybe 30 YXs by a quick comparison of early departures (45 YXs depart before 9:30am) versus early arrivals (only 15 arrive before 9:00am, so that's about 30 RONs). I'll defer to anyone who takes the time to take the deep dive, though.

Maybe. It's obvious that both CRJ and ERJ flying will be down (duh). The gate closures by themselves are an obvious cost saving measure since the CRJs can use the C and some of D gates as well. It's also not clear that the A gates will be completely closed - the language didn't state that (unlike the B-gates, which were given a specific timeframe at which point they would be closed completely).
