You clearly have no idea how our pay works.

No need for the SkyWest hate anymore either. United is pulling your strings now. And apparently, they don't like you guys.

For starters - a company that prides themselves on flying .62 everywhere, you should be encouraging them to set speed records.

I believe it’s called “scheduled average time”, not block or better.

Where does this stuff come from? I've been here two years, and I've never flown slower than 300kts / .70 mach in cruise. ERJ?

I cant be arsed to get involved in SKW arguments, but .70 mach is slower than anyone else.

Than anyone else? No, it's not. But that's beside the point - this is a just a silly dig. In retrospect, I guess that makes it perfect for APC...

Yet, here you are... :eye roll:

On the CRJ side, normal flight plan speeds are .74/200 and .77/700&900

Again, depending on ATC and whether we’re early, late or whatnot.

I was being a tad facetious. However, you have inadvertently proved the joke, .70 is slow when most airlines are moving at .77-.82. OO flies slower than everyone else, it’s not a mean joke, it’s a fact. You guys love that cost-index.

Yeah, some guys do...but I only fly standups. And all of us vampires know the drill. Max Rental Power, as we used to say when I was a CFI 20 years ago.

290 knots in the climb, transition to .80 or faster if the bird will do it (I once did get a -200 that would do .85, which was kinda impressive -- most of them can't do much more than .76 or .77), then barber pole in the descent. I know not of this "cost index" you speak of...

If you ain't clackin', you slackin'!!!

That is a impressive accomplishment in a deuce! You don’t have to worry about it clacking until you are into the first red square. Gotta love the CDO life: it’s not a job, it’s an adventure!
